Kumquat Mojito
Ingredients:
- Club soda – 1 quart
- Mint leaves – 1 cup
- Kumquats – ½ pound (halve them lengthwise)
- White rum – 1 ¾ cups
- Orange juice or frozen kalamansi – one can (concentrate, thawed)
- Large lime – 1 cut into thin wedges
- Crushed ice
Method of preparation:
Take a large pitcher and in it put the leaves of mint and kumquats that have been halved. With a muddler or a
wooden spoon, keep muddling the mixture till the ingredients blend well with each other. Next pour in the rum, club
soda, concentrate of the juice and also squeeze in the lime wedges. Stir all the ingredients well and with the help
of the strainer, strain the liquid into cocktail glasses. Add the garnish and serve the easy and one of the
best mojito recipes ever. Add ice for a super cool drink.
Strawberry-Lemon Mojito
Ingredients:
- Mint leaves for muddling as well as garnishing
- Wedges of lemon – 8
- Strawberries – 4 (additional two for the garnish)
- Crushed ice
- Ice cubes
- Lemon juice – 3 ounces (fresh)
- Agave nectar or sugarcane syrup – 2 ounces
- Aged rum or gold rum – 8 ounces
Method of preparation:
In a cocktail shaker, put the lemon wedges in first and then add the mint leaves as well as the full
strawberries. Muddle all these ingredients well with the help of a muddler. Add the sugarcane syrup, juice of
lemon, rum as well as ice-cubes and shake all the ingredients well. With the help of a strainer, strain the liquid
into the cocktail glasses and garnish with halves of the berry and sprigs of mint.
Ultimate Mojito
Ingredients:
- Fresh lime juice – ½ ounce
- Mint syrup – ½ ounce
- Mint leaves – 15 nos
- Mint sprig – 1
- Club soda – 1 ounce
- Light rum – 2 ½ ounce
- Ice cubes
Method of preparation:
Take a cocktail shaker and in it muddle the mint leaves, mint syrup and lime juice. Next add the rum and crushed
ice and shake the ingredients well. Strain the mixture and pour into tall highball glasses filled with ice cubes.
Top the drink with soda and garnish with a sprig of mint.
